Rups Big Bear Nadi 1 Now Solar Powered

Rups Big Bear is pleased to announce that our Nadi 1 store is now powered by solar energy.

The store has been fitted with a 50kW on-grid solar power system, helping to reduce reliance on conventional electricity and lower its environmental impact. The system is expected to offset approximately 62 metric tons of CO₂ each year, equivalent to planting more than 2,000 trees annually.

The solar installation at Rups Big Bear Nadi 1 is part of our wider commitment to introducing renewable energy solutions across our stores throughout Fiji. Through these long-term investments, we are working to reduce carbon emissions and contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future for all Fijians.
